The simplicity of black and white astounds me.

Week One

Princeton is... old. My dorm is like a nuclear bunker from the cold war. But it's actually older than that. Princeton was actually the only university still here from the Revolutionary war. Or something like that. It's nice here. There was a thunderstorm last night, very epic. Laundry machines here are terrible. Made a few friends, but always feel very alone. Lots of people here like sports, so I'm obviously very lonely sometimes... I really don't know many people here, and I don't really feel I fit in sometimes.

BUT...

The food is awesome here for the most part. It's a buffet everyday every meal. Classes are easy/hard. If you pay attention, it's pretty easy, but there is a lot of work. I sleep approximately 7 hours a day, which isn't bad. Many people stay up to 3-4 A.M studying. We just finished our first exam, and we have our first dance. I don't really feel like going, because it's probably gonna be inappropriate all around. I actually hang out with an exclusive like, 5, people. I look at a lot of YouTube.

I'm a lot more loner here... I listen to a lot of Chess, and Weezer. Pork And Beans is awesome. So is the Soviet Machine. I miss you guys. I'm happy here, but also sad sometimes.

I'm learning a lot. Can't wait to get home and see my family and friends!

-From a serene place.
My pictures are posted at Photobucket right now, due to size limitations with Flickr. I'll post the best to Flickr later.

The Last Post

This is my last post before leaving. I'm not gonna have internet for a few days. Bye!

They call me Kobe, Kobeashi.

I had a good day yesterday.

It was fun. Basically the entirety of Thursday was composed of eating and fighting, most of the time with Nerf Guns. I got shot in my eye, stabbed with a improvised spear, and was killed. I was the antagonist, Kobeashi. :( On the other hand, I stabbed Mr. Castro with a spear, kicked him, punched him, shot him (a LOT), and shot a few rockets at him. I'll post the pictures later. :D We possibly made the worst movie ever. It wasn't even a movie. It was terrible.

At home, I watched the Chess In Concert from London, starring Josh Groban. It was spectacular. Watch the trailer. It is just a tad too epic, but very close. I especially liked the Soviets.

It's my last full day at home, and I need to finish packing. I'm scared of Princeton.

Filming?

Today is Thursday, and for some reason, my friends want to film. So apparently my friends are filming today, and I am stuck at CCC waiting for someone to pick me up. It beats staying home I guess. I actually am quite excited, as we are doing a parody of sorts. :D
I'm personally starting to be afraid to go to Princeton. We have communal bathrooms!
I'm going to miss everyone here...

I shame to wear a heart so white.

My favorite line from Macbeth. Ok, so the whole line is actually "My hands are of your color, but I shame to wear a heart so white." But nonetheless, looking to the past, I should have done so many more things, but my heart was too white... Packing for Princeton, I can't believe my parents got me another camera, even though I should not and do not deserve it... After all, I broke my camera and my cell phone... I'm at home while all my friends are at school. As in CCC...
I'm actually gonna use my flickr again now...

Broken Camera, Shattered Hearts, Splintered Bodies

Ugh. Broke the camera definitely.
It's hard to know that you broke the thing you love...
There was so much I wanted to do this year that I failed to do.

Onward through troubling memories to fascinating recollections.

Friday was MANTASTIC! Had a MANTASTIC day with my (guy) friends. :D

Waiting to live, waiting to die, waiting for an absolution that was never to come.

Last day of school!

Things on my mind:
  1. Graduation
  2. Fixing broken camera
  3. Not messing up in life

See me soaring in the skies...

Finally, I have time! Or not really. Anyways, I'm going to do a picture project for the last week of school. I'm not telling what it is though... He he he...

To be a better person, for the last 4 days of school, is my hope.

Have you ever wanted to do something so badly, but you couldn't?

P.S. 100th post

If I don't, will you?

Ugh... I hate yearbooks. So pointless, and annoying. Instead of just hanging out with friends, you have to ask people to sign your yearbook and waste time writing cliche'd memories and unusually peppy messages to people. But enough of that.

The main point of this blog is that I am feeling utterly uninspired and dull with my world. And I know that the world can be more intriguing than it first appears to be. And I think that I should go out and rediscover it. So I'm going to do a week of something to help me discover myself, and the world. Not literal exploration, but figurative, if you will.

Um. Minor sub-topics. For the last week of school I will bring...Finish later....

The longer I fight, the more I forget why I ended up here in the first place.

The more I want to surrender and accept defeat, the more I can't bear to see the cowardice of the white flag.

Moments of Glee and Times of Despair

Ugh...
Filming is so tiring. I'm never using my camcorder again. And I hate Windows. I've defended you to the last, Microsoft, but there can be no apologies today. Or last night. I spent 2-3 (!!!) hours trying to network my dad's computer and my computer so I can transfer my movie. Never happened. Ended up using my dad's iPod as a memory drive, but still couldn't transfer a 4.03 GB file on a drive with 4.90 GB free. So I gave up, and didn't transfer the file.

Ugh... Filming is tiring. But I'm having a lot of fun. Kinda. Bye.

Please mind the gap between the train and the platform.

Sigh! Eventful weekends are taxing on me. I like the title/quote because
  • They always say it on the Tube (London Underground)
  • It reminds me of the gap between the planning (platform) and execution (train)
  • There is a gap, and if you don't mind it, it will kill you.
Did you know that all but 2 of my T-shirts come from either a vacation spot or school? I don't go shopping much...

Saturday was really fun, and I'm going to ignore those who went do Great America. We had to film for my English class a scene for Macbeth, and I was Macbeth! Very fun with my friends, and very funny. Once I finish editing it, I might post it on YouTube. We are doing Act 2 Scene 3, if you want to know. We used a teleprompter (Laptop) so we didn't have to memorize any lines.

Sunday I had relatives coming over. Pretty fun. But they have a baby, and it was cute. I guess. It then picked its nose and then groped My Beige Bear. >.< Last time, it regurgitated on my pink elephant. Next time, I'm going to send them into hiding. "!El Bebe esta en tu casa mortando tus hombres!" I hope my espanol was correct.

Really great songs, Vienna by Billy Joel. It is exquisite. And Happy Together by the Turtles. These two songs describe my life right now. Listen to them!
